The moving play ‘Red Heavens,’ portrays the true story of Angelina Moleta. Angelina was an Italian pioneering immigrant on D’Urville Island, whose fate intertwined with the forces of nature and her deep connection with a high-born Māori woman.
Growing up on the volcanic island of Stromboli, Angelina was betrothed to her cousin at an early age. In 1906, 16-year-old Angelina settled with her husband on the remote D’Urville Island in the Marlborough Sounds. Her journey through womanhood and motherhood was a tale of
persevering through hardship and an unlikely friendship.

The band performed live on TVNZ’ “Seven Sharp”, the first NZ Rock ‘n’ Roll band on prime-time TV for decades, and appeared as themselves in US/NZ/Denmark crime drama show “Straight Forward”. The new Single “Sugar” drops June 1st, and ten shows in Japan are scheduled for early October 2024!
